Who You Are You are a dedicated professional with expertise in private sector housing law and environmental health, ideally with experience in Residential Environmental Health Teams or Private Sector Housing Teams. You possess excellent communication skills and have a proactive, solution-focused approach. You are registered as a Chartered Environmental Health Practitioner, Registered Environmental Health Practitioner, or a holder of a Certificate of Registration. You have experience in enforcing housing legislation and an aptitude for working collaboratively. What the Job Involves The role entails carrying out property licensing compliance inspections and securing landlord compliance with housing standards. You will work as part of the Residential Environmental Health Team, conduct housing inspections, assess hazards, and take enforcement actions if necessary. You will also partake in the implementation of new property licensing schemes and address non-compliance issues. The job requires maintaining accurate records, advising stakeholders on legal requirements, and participating in project and team initiatives.
