This senior position involves leading projects from start to finish, mentoring team members, pursuing additional projects, and developing project plans, schedules, and budgets. Location: Portsmouth, NH
Located on the Pease International Tradeport, our modern Portsmouth office features office and conference space overlooking arriving and departing planes.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage transportation engineering projects from inception to completion
2. Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets
3. Monitor and manage resources to ensure projects meet contractual, scope, budget, and schedule requirements, utilizing management tools like Deltek
4. Assemble and lead a qualified project team to deliver complex projects on time and within budget
5. Provide excellent client service by understanding and responding to client needs and concerns
6. Offer technical guidance to team members
7. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines
8. Achieve strong financial performance for Hoyle Tanner
9. Foster team engagement and satisfaction in project execution and collaboration with subconsultants and other disciplines
10. Resolve personnel conflicts in coordination with supervisors
11. Lead efforts in project pursuits and develop technical and cost proposals
12. Ensure timely invoicing and manage accounts receivable
13. Monitor product quality and develop quality management plans with clear roles
14. Keep leadership informed of potential claims or risks and collaborate on resolution strategies
15. Provide coaching, mentoring, and feedback to other project managers

Requirements:
* BS or MS degree
* PE License in one or more New England States
* 15+ years of progressive engineering or planning and leadership experience
* At least 5 years of project management experience
* Strong communication skills, with a solid understanding of project finances, scheduling, and client management
* Salary is commensurate with experience
