Vacancy Title Technical Sales Manager - Facade
Location South East Region - Remote
REPORTS TO: Head of Project Sales
We’re looking for an experienced facade sales professional to drive specification and sales of façade fire barriers and aluminium subframe systems across major UK construction projects.
This is a national role focused on London and the South, working closely with façade contractors and project teams to ensure our products are specified and delivered on large-scale developments.
You’ll be responsible for building relationships with key façade contractors, managing major project pipelines, developing new accounts, and providing technical sales support both on-site and externally. The role combines specification sales, project tracking, and stakeholder engagement across the façade market.
We’re ideally looking for someone with 5+ years external sales experience in the façade or building envelope sector, with a good understanding of façade applications, installation processes, and the UK specification sales cycle.
If you have experience selling façade systems, fire barriers, subframe systems, or related construction products, this role offers the opportunity to work on major UK façade projects while growing strategic relationships across the industry.
ROLE:
* Minimum 5 years in an external sales environment ideally selling but not limited to fire barriers and or aluminium sub frame components into the UK facades market
* Application knowledge at construction level in regard to applications, procedures and processes in the facade sector.
* Specifying a full range of facade related products across major projects across the UK.
* Achieve growth to meet sales and profit targets set
* Awareness of the marketplace and competitors
* Carry out client support both at site and externally.
* This is a national role and travel across the UK is expected and required with the majority of the time spend in the south.
* Educated to GCSE Standard as a minimum
* Able to carry out mathematical calculations required for the role
* Computer literate & use Excel/Power Point/CRM systems
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Drive sales and specification of our façade product range, specifically façade fire barriers and aluminium subframe components, with end user facades contractors.
* Build, maintain and grow relationships with existing accounts within your defined region to maximise your sales pipeline.
* Proactively develop new accounts to add to your pipeline and to agree target levels.
* Provide technical and sales support to all key stake holders set out above.
* Awareness of specification sales processes and procedures and promote the company’s harmonised offer over all our competitors.
* Track and manage all major projects of reasonable value, utilising our CRM and project documentation system.
* Complete CRM in line with company requirements, this include but is not limited to recording customer meetings / contact, passing information to colleagues, creating projects for tracking and linking emails.
* Have the ability to occasionally present CPD’s to company stakeholders
* Introduce colleagues into stakeholders where applicable, such as system / cross selling and engineering requirements.
* Maintain thorough knowledge of current building legislations, and their impact on the business, through updates provided by relevant internal departments.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Effective use of the company’s project systems, PowerPoint, CRM, Excel and other software applications resulting in positive stakeholder experiences.
* Achieve agreed monthly sales target.
* Positive negotiation with stakeholders on a professional level, adhering to company policies to ensure satisfaction of all parties, including agreed deviation on pricing levels set.
* Technical support carried out as per technical guidance provided and where required checked by our engineering team prior to submission to the stakeholder. This includes but is not limited to, technical activities such as, Site Test Reports, fixing specifications, technical guidance outside of our published data and/or requires calculation.
* Implementation of learnings provided by the company and identify own learnings as required.

* Manage your own working environment to achieve sales target
* Plan and implement your area strategy in line with the company goals
* Develop company stock holding, product assortment and logistic requirements in line with the company’s market strategy
