Pay Our Pharmacy Dispenser rate of pay starts from £12.87 per hour; this increases to £14.08 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
It's our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week. If you'd prefer to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12), opportunities are available and we would still love to hear from you.
The availability windows show the periods of time in the week we'd like you to be available to work. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times and you will have 3 weeks' notice of your shifts. We are happy to support flexibility, so if your availability is close to the advertised times we would still love to hear from you.

You will be responsible for
Pharmacy Assistants are integral to the running of our Pharmacies. We are looking for someone who is a team player and can take on the following responsibilities:
* Support the operation of one of our modern Pharmacies
* Use technical skills and strong customer focus to accurately dispense medication
* Dispense prescription medicines with attention to detail and accuracy
* Talk to customers and offer information in a confident, friendly and professional manner
* Provide information on common ailments, symptoms and products
* Understand customers' needs, explain product benefits, and recommend appropriate products
* Advise on the range of Pharmacy services available
* Support and deliver Pharmacy services and the dispensing process according to procedures
* Assess the legal appropriateness of dispensed prescriptions
* Address clinical and legal queries from Healthcare practitioners within the area of competence
* Respond to customer queries related to prescription medicines and inform the Pharmacist of any complaints
* Ensure all dispensary routines and procedures are followed
* Keep dispensary and consulting rooms clean and organized
* Ensure all prescription administration is accurate and completed on time
* Contribute to promotional activities and company initiatives
* Carry out procedures to protect profit and ensure safe and legal trading
* Complete corporate and departmental training
* Stay up to date with legal and professional developments in pharmacy
You will need
* Qualifications gained from working in a Pharmacy environment
* A desire to train and develop into the Pharmacy field
