Looking to make a real impact supporting people in the criminal justice system?
A new programme is launching in Norwich, and we're looking for someone to provide one-to-one support to individuals on probation—helping them access employment, training, education, housing, healthcare, and wider resettlement services.
You'll be based at Norwich Probation Trust, working directly with clients in the community. Your role will focus on setting goals, offering practical advice, and connecting people with the support they need to rebuild their lives.
Who We're Looking For
You'll have experience working with people in or leaving the criminal justice system, such as in prisons, probation, or resettlement services. We're also keen to hear from those who've supported vulnerable groups facing homelessness, substance misuse, or mental health challenges. Criminology graduates with relevant volunteer experience are welcome too.
People from the following backgrounds often thrive in this type of work: probation or prison officers, resettlement workers, supported housing officers, drug & alcohol workers, hostel staff, careers or employment advisers.
What's On Offer
* 25 days annual leave (with increases)
* 2 days paid volunteering leave
* Enhanced pension & life assurance
* Inclusive staff networks (LGBTQ+, menopause, neurodiversity, and more)
