Working hours: Tuesday to Friday, 12pm to 6pm during term‑time and 21 hours per week on a rota basis during school holidays

The Role
The Deputy Manager will lead an effective and motivated team to deliver high‑quality out‑of‑school care for P1–P4 during term time and Nursery/P1–P7 during holiday periods. Key duties include supporting the Practitioner, evaluating provision weekly, ensuring consistent approach, supporting children and staff, and being included in staff ratios.
Responsibilities
* Provide daily support to the Practitioner and evaluate provision weekly.
* Ensure consistent approach throughout the provision.
* Support children and staff and be part of staff ratios on the floor.
* Lead an effective and motivated team to deliver high quality care.
Qualifications
* Kind, enthusiastic, and responsible individual who prioritises children and works well within a team.
* Experience working with children.
* Possess or be actively working towards a recognised childcare qualification.
* Demonstrate strong organisational skills.
Salary
Salary range: £20,456 to £22,462 pro‑rata per annum, dependent on skills and experience.
