Qualified Social Worker needed for our Assessment Team in Hertfordshire, paying £39 ph - Hybrid Working!
Hertfordshire are seeking experienced Social Workers to join their Assessment Teams. This role focuses on undertaking statutory social work duties including assessments, Section 47 enquiries, and Child Protection (CP) and Child in Need (CIN) work.
Social Workers will be responsible for visiting children and families in their homes and schools, attending multi-agency meetings, and completing Child & Family Assessments within statutory timescales. The role offers a balanced caseload and a supportive hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities
* Undertake statutory social work duties within the Assessment Team
* Complete Child & Family Assessments within required timescales
* Carry out Section 47 enquiries and safeguarding investigations
* Manage Child Protection and Child in Need cases
* Visit children and families at home and in educational settings
* Attend and contribute to multi-agency meetings and planning processes
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records
Requirements
* Qualified Social Worker with relevant Social Work qualification
* Experience within Children’s Statutory Social Work
* Experience undertaking assessments, CP, CIN and safeguarding work desirable
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
* Strong assessment, communication and report writing skills
