Job Description
Provide specialist HR support to the UK business, including managing multiple contracts. Responsible for maintaining a content and productive workforce where employees are empowered to meet established objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business strategy.
• Bridge management and employee relations, addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
• Manage compensation and benefits, including payroll.
• Develop and monitor HR processes and procedures across the organization.
• Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
• Manage company ERP system and recruitment tools.
• Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
• Ensure legal compliance.
Key Accountabilities:
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise the employment of new employees.
• Keep HR policies, processes, and procedures up to date.
• Monitor employee performance records to identify areas for improvement.
• Shape and maintain a positive organizational culture.
• Mediate in conflict resolution.
Requirements
Qualifications:
* HR professional qualification preferable (CIPD L5 desirable).
* Degree educated preferred but not essential.
* Pragmatic and considered approach with strong attention to detail.
* Experience in the defense/aerospace sector or a company with high standards of corporate governance and compliance.
* 5+ years of HR experience and understanding of HR fundamentals.

Additional Requirements
* Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship, ideally in Aeronautical Engineering or Military equivalent apprenticeship.
* Minimum of City & Guilds 2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance, or equivalent.
* Experience as a competent leader at this level.
* At least 2 years working at Technician level before undertaking a Supervisor role.
* Demonstrated breadth of experience, currency, and recency via a Log Book of skills, knowledge, and authorities for working on Aircraft types or in bays.
