Overview
Corporate Tax Compliance, Senior Manager at PwC UK. You will oversee a portfolio of clients, ensure adherence to UK tax regulations, manage complex tax compliance projects, identify tax planning opportunities, mitigate risks, and lead a team of tax professionals. Collaborate with PwC teams to deliver integrated services and stay updated on changes in tax legislation and their implications for clients.
Responsibilities
* Client management: Engage with clients to understand tax needs, provide strategic advice, and ensure satisfaction with PwC\'s services.
* Leadership of large teams and senior stakeholder management.
* Technical analysis: Stay abreast of changes in tax legislation, assess impact on clients, and advise on necessary adjustments.
* Collaboration: Work with other PwC departments to provide integrated services and holistic solutions; participate in initiatives to attract new clients or expand services to existing clients.
Qualifications
* Must possess a tax professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ATT, CTA, ACCA or an international equivalent) or have equivalent work experience. Includes international candidates.
* UK corporate tax knowledge including: ability to review UK tax computations and tax accounting, group reporting calculations and disclosures for accuracy; identify opportunities and risks for the client.
* Sound accounting knowledge with ability to interpret statutory accounts.
* Leadership experience with senior stakeholders both internally and externally; ability to build and maintain relationships within large teams.
* Strong client service ethos and flexible approach to meeting client needs.
* Proven experience in identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the tax compliance process through technology and innovative practices.
