Job title: Training Needs Analyst
Location: Portsmouth. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role
Salary: Up to £49,000 (dependent on skills and experience)
What you'll be doing
* Reading technical documentation (e.g. engineering maintenance and operator manuals) and identifying Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes (KSA) that personnel will need to be trained on in order to work with that equipment
* Attending meetings with customers and internal reviewers to explain their analysis
* Discussion with Subject Matter Experts in equipment/systems in order to analyse and thus describe the training requirement
Your skills and experiences
* Defence experience with specific training needs analysis
* Experience in Technical and Engineering organisations within a regulated environment to ensure safe operation (oil & gas, nuclear, rail transport)
* Teaching and training (Higher and Further Education usually, but occasionally Secondary)
* Knowledge of engineering manuals and documentation relating to operation
* An awareness of training in general - i.e. the training cycle (e.g. Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation - ADDIE model)
