Associate Installer (Commercial Window Treatments) – New Location Launch
Initial Location: Columbus, OH (Training) Permanent Location: Richmond, VA
Full-Time | Competitive Pay | Hands-On Role | Travel Required for Training | Late August / Early September Start Date

Note: This role requires 2–4 weeks of paid training in Columbus, Ohio prior to starting in Richmond.
About the Role
As an Associate Installer, you'll independently install blinds and manage medium-difficulty commercial installation projects. You’ll be a key player in building our reputation at this new location, supported by structured training and hands-on mentorship.
Responsibilities
* Lead on-site installations for commercial window treatment projects.
* Organize and maintain a warehouse space and inventory of blinds.
* Accurately read blueprints and interpret manufacturer specifications.
* Measure, cut, and shorten blinds as needed for a perfect fit.
* Maintain a clean, professional work environment on site.
* Follow OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols.
* Complete job site reports documenting progress, challenges, and solutions.
* Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth project execution.
* Travel to surrounding regions for jobs as needed.

Preferred Qualifications
* Window treatment installation experience strongly preferred.
* At least 6–12 months of related installation or construction experience.
* Prior experience leading or mentoring a small team is a plus.
* Comfortable using power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and measuring equipment.
* Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Education
* High school diploma or GED required.
Physical Requirements
* Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
* Regular use of ladders and scaffolding at varying heights.
* Comfortable working at heights and in physically active conditions.
* Occasional evenings/weekends based on project timelines.
Compensation details: 24-26 Hourly Wage
