We're seeking a dedicated Painter and Decorator to join our team at HMP Forest Bank on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.
In this role, you'll play a crucial part in maintaining and improving the infrastructure of the prison. You will ensure all decorating is carried out in a timely manner, contributing directly to the safety and operational efficiency of the facility. A key aspect of the role is ensuring compliance with safety codes and regulations.

Main Responsibilities
* Carry out reactive and planned decorating projects to ensure operational support is provided to the establishment at all times.
* Ensure all work is undertaken safely, in accordance with good practice and current legislation.
* Adhere to tool management procedures as laid down in the Local Security Strategy.
* Undertake project work as directed by the Technical Facilities Manager.
* Supervise prisoner working parties, where applicable.
* Complete all work to relevant trade standards.
