About the Role:

We're looking for a dedicated and flexible individual to join our team as a Community Navigator. You will be supporting our clients with a range of tasks including mental health support and recovery measures. Your role ensures that our clients are given the best opportunities and a high level of care at all times. You will need to pass and maintain a valid DBS check, training will be provided working alongside our team of existing Navigators.

This role may involve working with vulnerable individuals, and so we are looking for an empathetic person who can work under pressure and as part of a wider team. This individual will also be expected to build networks with our existing partners who focus on issues such as money management and housing.

Who will you be working with?

You will be working alongside our team of Navigators to meet client needs. Reporting to the CEO, you will be given full informative briefs of every client you deal with. Your safety, and that of our clients, is our top priority and we have strict measures in place to make sure you and our clients are always supported and given the highest level of care.

Key responsibilities:

* Mental Health Support
* Recovery plans
* Working with our team of counsellors to understand client needs
* Assisting client with day-to-day tasks such as attending doctors appointments or setting up online banking
* Assisting with clothing and food needs
* Working alongside the wider team to ensure logistics run smoothly
* Previous experience in community care is preferable, but not essential as training will be provided. Local knowledge into the benefits system, as well as a general understanding of the economic issues within the region are essential.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.95-£15.95 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
