What’s the Product Marketing Manager role all about?
As a Product Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how our products are perceived, understood, and embraced by our customers. Your mission is to translate technical capabilities into compelling narratives that resonate with our audience, driving adoption and growth.
What are the key responsibilities?
Product Positioning and Messaging:
* Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and sales teams to deeply understand our products.
* Craft clear, concise, and persuasive messaging that highlights the unique value proposition of each product.
* Develop positioning statements that resonate with different customer segments.
* Create and execute go-to-market plans for new product launches.
* Define target audiences, channels, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Develop pricing strategies that align with product value.
Market and Customer Insights
* Conduct market research to understand customer pain points, needs, and preferences.
* Gather feedback from existing customers and prospects.
* Use data-driven insights to refine product messaging.
* Competitor Analysis to identify competitive differentiators
* Equip our sales team with compelling product narratives, battle cards, and objection-handling tools.
* Train sales reps on product features, benefits, and competitive differentiators.
* Ensure alignment between marketing and sales efforts.
Content Creation
* Collaborate with the Content Marketing Manager to develop high-quality content, including product collateral, case studies, whitepapers, and blog posts.
* Collaborate with content creators to produce engaging materials.
* Leverage storytelling techniques to convey product value.
Product Launches
* Plan and execute product launches, coordinating across cross-functional teams.
* Craft launch announcements, press releases, and promotional materials.
* Monitor launch performance and iterate based on results.
Customer Retention and Expansion
* Work closely with customer success teams to identify upsell opportunities.
* Develop campaigns to drive product adoption and reduce churn.
* Leverage customer testimonials and success stories.
What would Orlo love from you?
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
* Proven experience in product marketing within the SaaS industry.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
* Passion for technology and the ability to simplify complex concepts.
* Product development and management experience across international markets
