Search are working with a well-established client in Glasgow who is seeking a Payroll Assistant to join their dynamic payroll team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a finance background who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Process weekly payrolls and related invoicing.
* Manage statutory deductions and perform manual payroll calculations.
* Generate regular payroll reports.
* Respond to payroll queries from employees and internal teams.
* Maintain accurate payroll records and systems.
* Administer statutory payments (SSP, SMP, etc.).
The Ideal Candidate:
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Confident communicator, able to handle payroll queries professionally.
* Problem-solving mindset, comfortable managing payroll complexities.
* Proficient in Excel, Word, and payroll software.
* Experience with weekly or high-volume payrolls is desirable, but not essential.
