Key responsibilities of an Early Career Teacher
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners, following the national curriculum and school policies.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development.
* Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress, providing feedback to help them achieve their full potential.
* Engage in professional development and mentoring, reflecting on practice to grow in confidence and effectiveness as a teacher.
What you need to succeed in this role?
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or completion of initial teacher training.
* Some classroom experience gained through teaching placements or school-based training.
* A flexible, creative approach to teaching and a willingness to try new strategies.
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude towards working with colleagues, pupils, and parents.
* Strong curriculum knowledge, behaviour management and ability to engage pupils effectively.
