Job Title: Head of Subcontract Programme Management
Location: Scotstoun and Govan
Salary: £77,000 to £87,000 depending on skills and experience plus executive benefits
What you’ll be doing:
* Accountable for the full lifecycle of contract management, including the development and implementation of the NEC 4 commercial strategy across the T26 Programme. This includes managing the Invitation to Tender, Tender Evaluation, Contract Award, Contract Execution, and contract closure.
* Providing commercial leadership, policy guidance, and support across the T26 programme in relation to NEC 4 contracting strategies, promoting collaborative working within the organization.
* Managing and leading a cross-functional team to work seamlessly with Operations, ensuring delivery of contracted services on schedule, within safety standards, and fostering a Total Safety culture covering SHE, Product Safety, and Quality requirements.
* Resolving commercial disputes effectively and managing risks associated with commercial claims with contractors.
* Developing and executing the business operational subcontracting strategy for major outsourcing, ensuring value for money and capacity considerations with stakeholders.
* Negotiating and establishing appropriate terms and conditions with major subcontractors, ensuring risk is properly allocated and accountability is maintained.
Your skills and experiences:
* Experience in the Construction Industry or a relevant sector.
* Strong understanding of NEC3/4 contracts.
* Ability to develop innovative contract solutions to improve supply chain delivery.
* Proven experience managing cross-functional teams.
* Necessity of NEC3/4 License.
* Chartered Member of RICS or equivalent (desirable).
* MCIPS qualification.
