Overview
As an Enterprise Architect for Cloud and Infrastructure, you will be a technical leader focused on delivering customer‑centric outcomes, leveraging the latest in public cloud and data centre technologies. You will lead and mentor architectural resources to achieve business goals, develop and own Enterprise Architecture roadmaps and apply industry best practices to support strategic objectives. Collaborating with senior partners, engineers, and product tribes, you will ensure alignment of architectural, business, product, and technical priorities.
Responsibilities
* Decides on architectural strategic technology & vendor choices/selection for the architecture landscape and TCO economic ambition, bringing together technical depth and breadth in a drive towards a single vision.
* Sets direction on 1–3‑year target architectures, transitional states, blueprints, principles, standards & rolling adaptable costed roadmaps for their area, in collaboration with D&T product, engineering, data and business stakeholders.
* Participates in overall architecture governance, ensuring architectural artefacts are well understood, clear, simple and collaboratively created; roadmaps form business cases and executable plans guiding implementation.
* Accountable for all definition, delivery, security, and performance of architecture building blocks and key solution building blocks across the landscape.
* Drives communities of interest for the area of architecture, including engineers and architects, to research, experiment, and continually improve business outcomes; creates & champions architectural principles and promotes engineering best practices through guardrails.
Qualifications
* Demonstrable enterprise architecture expertise with strong modelling capabilities (ArchiMate, UML, BPMN).
* Experience developing enterprise models across Business Capability, Product, Service Domain, and Data.
* Proven track record of delivering digital transformation at scale and executing at pace within the last three years of emerging architecture and technology trends.
* Strong understanding of architectural patterns, integration, and modern engineering practices.
* Strategic thinking to drive customer‑centric outcomes with clear written and verbal communication.
