Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a large and inclusive secondary school in Bury that is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students with additional learning needs.
* September 2025 start.
* £1790 - £1900 per month, dependent on experience and qualifications.
* Paid weekly, every Friday via PAYE.

This rewarding role involves working closely with students who may have a range of needs including Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), cognitive difficulties, and other special educational needs (SEN). You will play a vital part in their day-to-day school life, promoting positive engagement and supporting their academic, emotional, and social development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, both in and out of the classroom.
* Support students in developing their confidence, communication skills, and independence.
* Assist with implementing the strategies outlined in students' Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), in collaboration with the SENCO and class teachers.
* Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe, supportive environment for all learners.
* Support pupils during break/lunch times and other school routines to encourage inclusion and positive social interactions.
* Contribute to record keeping and progress tracking for students you work with.
* Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and activities to support differentiated learning
