Procurement Specialist - Defence & Security

This role offers the chance to join a high-impact Procurement team responsible for managing significant spend and supporting strategic business objectives.
The Role
As a Procurement Specialist, you’ll be responsible for supporting end-to-end procurement activity within a complex business unit. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to deliver sourcing activities, manage contracts, and drive value across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing contract administration, including amendments and accurate record-keeping
* Delivering sourcing activities, including RFQs and supplier selection processes
* Providing analysis to support procurement and commercial decision-making
* Tracking and reporting on supplier performance through KPIs
* Supporting Supplier Relationship Management through spend and performance insights
* Monitoring supplier risk across financial, operational, and sustainability factors
* Identifying opportunities to increase SME participation in the supply chain
* Supporting the implementation of a new Source-to-Pay system
* Driving continuous improvement across procurement processes and systems

Experience & Background
* Degree educated or equivalent experience
* Interest in or working towards MCIPS (desirable)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Experience or interest in procurement operations and sourcing
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
* Interest in using technology to enhance procurement processes
