Role Summary
Equiniti, one of the UK's largest Pensions & Benefits Consultancies, seeks an Actuarial Project Consultant for its Regulatory Change Team. This role is ideal for a Part Qualified Actuary with UK DB pension consulting experience who prefers an office/remote working environment over client-facing roles. Responsibilities include supporting calculations, preparing proformas, and working on projects such as GMP Equalisation, benefit rectifications, LTA abolition, and McCloud remediation.
Core Duties/Responsibilities
* Creating complex calculations and writing precise formulae.
* Checking and auditing quotes, claims, and servicing/discontinuance work.
* Identifying process gaps and proposing solutions.
* Innovating to improve efficiency and accuracy through new or existing solutions.
* Managing projects, including designing plans, maintaining risk logs, and liaising with clients.
* Performance management and providing training/coaching to colleagues.
* Supporting project leaders and management, escalating issues with proposed solutions.
* Preparing client reports, arranging meetings, and teleconferences.
* Building relationships with colleagues and external contacts.
* Identifying training needs and seeking development opportunities.
* Maintaining data and providing management information.

* Experience in Pensions Consultancy.
* Progress towards IFoA exams.
