This is a hands-on role focused on supporting end users, maintaining core IT systems, and coordinating with external service providers when required. Based primarily at their head office in East London, the position will also involve occasional visits to other sites to provide on-site support and maintenance. As the IT Manager you will be responsible for : * Providing first-line support for hardware, software, and network issues. * Setting up and configuring user accounts, laptops, printers, and IT equipment. * Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting desktop and mobile devices. * Monitoring system performance and escalate complex issues to external providers. * Manage user permissions and access across platforms (e.g. Office 365, SharePoint). * Support data backups and recovery processes. * Liaise with vendors and IT partners for support, maintenance, and licensing. * Troubleshoot email, internet, and connectivity issues. * Maintain IT documentation, asset logs, and user guides. * Support staff onboarding and offboarding from an IT perspective. * Deliver on IT projects assigned by senior management. In order to succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience: * Previous IT support/helpdesk experience * Prior hands on experience managing an IT function (3–5 years preferred). * Strong knowledge of Office 365, Windows OS, and cloud-based systems. * Exposure to business systems such as Power BI or Dimensions * Experience supporting hybrid or multi-site environments. * Relevant certifications (CompTIA A, Microsoft, etc.) are an advantage. * Basic understanding of networking, system security, and hardware maintenance. * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. * Ability to manage multiple support tasks with a proactive approach. * Comfortable working independently and with external IT providers In return you will receive * The opportunity to take ownership of IT operations in a supportive environment. * A varied and hands-on role with exposure to a wide range of systems. * A chance to contribute to IT projects that directly support business growth.
