Pulse has recently partnered with one of the UK’s specialist providers of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Physiotherapist to provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This position is based in Birmingham, which is easily accessible via public transport.
About the role:
As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will work in a specialist 42-bed neuro-rehabilitation centre with the goal to maximise independence and recovery, working closely with patients and their families to set personalised goals.

Your main responsibilities as a Senior Physiotherapist:
* Ensure the provision of a high-quality physiotherapy service within the multidisciplinary team
* Independently complete specialist assessments of complex neurological patients
* Formulate individualised problem lists, treatment plans, and goals
* Prescribe 24-hour postural management programs, utilising specialist seating, positioning, and splints
* Assess for and manage increased tone/spasticity
* Provide supervision to therapy assistants and student physiotherapists
* Participate in teaching and education of relatives and MDT colleagues
* Actively participate and provide feedback in MDT meetings
* Write comprehensive and detailed review reports for patients, commissioners, and families
What we are looking for in a Senior Physiotherapist:
* HCPC registered
* Excellent clinical knowledge and experience working with people with neurological conditions and an understanding of the long-term impact on individuals, their families, and carers
