Finance Officer - Ballycastle - Permanent An opportunity has arisen for a Finance and Business Support professional to play a vital role in delivering effective financial and business operations, ensuring accurate management, compliance, reporting and contributing to the overall efficiency and sustainability of the organisation. About the role:
1. £33,000+ per annum
2. Monday to Friday
3. 35 days annual leave
4. Permanent role
What you'll be doing in this role:
5. Ensure accuracy of day-to-day financial records including income/payments, purchases, and nominal ledger transactions.
6. Manage the month end close process including journal preparation, debtors and creditors review and balance sheet reconciliations.
7. Produce monthly management accounts, forecasting and associated reports for the Senior Management Team.
8. Monitor restricted and unrestricted funds, ensuring appropriate allocation and reporting
9. Prepare financial reports for funders and gathering of documentation as per the funder requirements to support the return, ensuring submission on a timely basis.
10. Process and prepare payments for salaries and record and update any monthly sickness/ annual leave entitlement.
What you'll need for this role:
11. Qualified AAT, IATI or part-qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA AND experience in a similar financial role, Or extensive experience in a similar financial role.
12. Strong financial analytical skills with demonstrable experience of a logical and methodical approach to problem solving.
13. Demonstrable experience of preparing and processing Payroll including HMRC and pension submission.
14. Proven ability to manage a range of competing weekly and monthly priorities to deliver accurate work in line with a monthly schedule and to tight deadlines.
