About the Role
We’re looking for a talented and motivated Quantity Surveyor (or Employer’s Agent) with consultancy experience who takes pride in delivering an exceptional client service.
You’ll lead and support a range of projects from early feasibility through to completion, acting as a key client contact and working alongside a team that values collaboration, personal development, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying services across a variety of projects
* Act as Employer’s Agent on design & build schemes
* Manage cost planning, procurement, tendering, and contract administration
* Supervise and mentor junior team members and apprentices
* Maintain strong client relationships and ensure a high standard of service
* Support the delivery of multiple projects simultaneously
* Contribute to the ongoing improvement of processes and quality standards
About You
You’ll bring a mix of strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
We’re looking for someone who has:
* A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Cost Management, or a related discipline
* Ideally, MRICS qualification (or working towards chartership within 3 years)
* At least 3 years’ experience delivering QS and/or Employer’s Agent services within a consultancy or PQS environment
* Strong understanding of cost management and construction contracts
* The ability to run projects independently while collaborating with wider teams
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills
* A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required
