Job Introduction
We are looking for a dedicated and friendly Food Service Assistant to join our team at Vauxhall Barracks, Didcot, OX11 7ES. You’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of efficient and high-quality food service to our Armed Forces Personnel, creating a positive experience for everyone.
Due to Security Requirements you must have been resident in the UK for at least the last 3 years
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that food and beverages are served to a high standard.
* Assist in the preparation and assembly of meals, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
* Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in the food service areas, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and restocking supplies.
* Help with the safe storage of food items and adhere to the rotation of stock.
* Take customer orders, process payments, and support any special dietary requirements.
* Assist in setting up and breaking down food service stations, ensuring an efficient service operation.
* Follow all health and safety regulations in line with Sodexo's policies.
* Cooking 5-6 breakfasts per week, items such as sausage, eggs, bacon
