A well-regarded independent preparatory school in Rickmansworth is seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join its Reception team on a long-term basis. About the Role
You’ll work collaboratively within a dedicated Reception team to deliver high-quality, play-based learning experiences that support each child’s development and curiosity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with EYFS principles
* Create a continuous provision environment that fosters independence and creativity
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and progression across the year group
* Support pupil wellbeing through active participation in playground duties
* Maintain open and effective communication with staff and families
* Lead or assist with a weekly extracurricular club
* Monitor and record pupil progress, celebrating achievements and identifying next steps
* Attend weekly staff meetings and contribute to the wider school community
Ideal Candidate
* Holds QTS or EYTS with experience teaching in the EYFS
* Passionate about early childhood education and child development
