Overview This role is ideal for a Quantity Surveyor with three to four years of experience who is ready to take a step up and become more involved in the delivery side of projects. You will be joining a team that works on high specification commercial, interiors and themed environment projects across the UK, Europe and further afield. Their portfolio includes immersive environments, specialist fit out work and large-scale themed attractions for well-known global clients. You will also gain exposure to international work, including themed attractions in Dubai and Japan, along with involvement in a major European development that is the first of its kind. It is the type of experience that is difficult to find in the local market and gives you the chance to work on projects that genuinely stand out. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of your own packages and build real confidence on live jobs. A degree in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent qualification is essential. The Role Working closely with the project and commercial teams, you will help keep projects on track across cost, programme and delivery. It is hands on, fast paced and well suited to someone who wants to grow into a strong Project QS. Key responsibilities include: Managing the commercial performance of projects to protect margin and maintain financial control Reviewing risk and ensuring company processes and procedures are followed Supporting variations and authorising contracts, subcontracts ,materials and plant Maximising cash flow through accurate measurement, valuation and invoicing Ensuring compliance with company policies including health, safety and environmental standards Building strong client relationships and representing the company professionally Advising on design changes, value engineering opportunities and cost control Supporting programme and delay assessments including preparation of extension of time claims Preparing, negotiating and agreeing final accounts Attending project meetings and providing clear commercial input What We Are Looking For Three to four years of experience in a Quantity Surveying role with exposure to project delivery Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent discipline Organised, proactive and confident managing your own workload Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams, suppliers and subcontractors For more information or to discuss in confidence, please contact Rachael Ryan at CSR on.
