Finance Operations Integration Accountant – About The Role
In this role you will be working within a sub team of 10 and will be reporting into the Head of Finance. This is a very analytical position and requires someone with very strong systems/data experience. Your key responsibilities will be:
Act as the primary investigator for accounting anomalies raised by the BU accounting team.
Analyse explained ledger activity and identify root causes including integration failures and data flow issues.
Work closely with systems & data, technology and change teams to resolve issues and implement durable fixes.
Represent finance operations in M&A integration discussions and onboarding design.
Ensure all new business or system changes meet Fin Ops requirements before approval.
Support due diligence and post-acquisition readiness form an operational accounting standpoint.
Translate system and process changes into clear operational steps for the BU accounting team.
Produce supporting documentation, walkthrough, SOPs and reconciliation requirements.
The successful Finance Operations Integration Accountant will have:
Experience in financial operations, accounting flows or reconciliation processes
Experience in working with technology or change teams on system integrations or transformations
Strong stakeholder influencing skills
Understanding of M&A onboarding or systems migrations
Excellent communication skills
