This role supports the Overseas Business and Performance Manager by managing overseas legislation, overseeing the identification, interview, assessment and investigation of Overseas Visitors across both Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust and Cornwall Foundation Trust, and providing operational support to the Directorates. The post holder will act as a point of reference for queries on overseas guidance, lead audit programmes, and develop and deliver training on overseas management.
Responsibilities
* Provide direct assistance to the Overseas Business and Performance Manager on overseas legislation and guidance.
* Oversee the identification, interview, assessment and investigation of Overseas Visitors.
* Support operational Directorates with day‑to‑day management of Overseas Visitor processes.
* Act as a reference point for queries regarding overseas guidance.
* Lead audit programmes to monitor adherence to overseas policies.
* Develop and deliver training relating to all aspects of overseas management.
Essential Experience

Desirable Experience
* Experience in a role of similar or equivalent seniority within the NHS.
* Previous NHS operational management experience.
* Knowledge of overseas visitor legislation and Department of Health guidance.
* Knowledge of health services management at a degree level.
* ECDL or equivalent proficiency in Microsoft Office and email applications.
* 5 GCSE grades C or above (including Mathematics and English).
* Management qualification or equivalent.
* Experience working with clinical teams.
* Awareness of NHS policy, reforms and current issues.
* Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to manipulate information efficiently.
