Job Description
New Directions Education is currently recruiting an Early Years Teacher to join a small primary school in Warrington. The school has an Outstanding graded Early Years setting, with strong support from teaching assistants and a range of interventions. The school also has a low proportion of Pupil Premium pupils.

About the Role
5. Plan and deliver high-quality Early Years teaching, including provision for Reception and Nursery where applicable.
6. Develop and implement a stimulating, play-based curriculum that supports all areas of learning and development.
7. Work closely with teaching assistants and intervention staff to support children’s progress and wellbeing.
8. Monitor progress and use assessment to inform planning and personalised support.
The Ideal Candidate
9. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
10. Experience teaching in Early Years (Nursery/Reception) is desirable.
11. Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
12. Confident in planning and delivering play-based learning and early phonics, maths, and communication development.
13. Able to work effectively with teaching assistants and support staff to deliver targeted interventions.
14. Willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check and register with the Update Service, if not already done.
15. Must have employment references covering the last 5 years.
