Payroll, Compensations & Benefits Advisor, Merseyside
Portfolio Payroll is currently working with a large organisation on the Wirral, recruiting for a Payroll, Compensations & Benefits Advisor to join their team. They offer an excellent working environment, work-from-home opportunities, and fantastic benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the busy payroll department with high-volume starters and leavers.
2. Manage multiple payrolls with varying shift patterns.
3. Utilize technical skills including Resourcelink System and Excel for manual processing.
4. Process compensation and benefits, accounting for 25% of the role.
5. Provide comprehensive advice to employees regarding payroll queries.
6. Ensure all payments, including benefits, are made within deadlines.
7. Utilize Zellis/Resourcelink systems effectively.
Desirable Skills and Attributes:
1. Minimum 2-3 years industry experience, preferably in payroll or benefits.
2. Experience in benefits or compensation management is essential.
3. Previous payroll experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
4. Attention to detail and team-oriented mindset.
5. Strong basic math skills.
6. Excellent communication skills for handling employee queries.
7. Proficiency in Excel.
8. CIPP qualification is advantageous but not essential.

Working Hours:
