Position Overview
An opportunity has arisen for bank clerical officers to join the admin team at Cowal Community Hospital to cover staff vacancies and absences at set times throughout the year.
Responsibilities
* Work as part of a team, providing excellent communication, organisational and keyboard skills.
* Maintain a calm and pleasant manner, stay well organised and work independently.
* Carry out clerical duties under pressure and adapt flexibly to departmental needs.
* Perform other ad‑hoc responsibilities as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Typing skills to the equivalent of ECDL/SVQ2.
* Good educational background; proven experience in a similar role desirable but not required (full training will be provided).
* Knowledge of medical terminology and previous NHS experience desirable but not necessary.
* Computer competency and proficiency in office software.
Training & Support
Induction, training, support and supervision will be provided.
