Leisure Attendant – Ballynahinch Community Centre Pay: £14.07 per hour Location: Ballynahinch Community Centre Hours: Three-week rotational rota (includes evenings & weekends) About the Role We’re looking for a reliable and customer-focused Attendant to join the team at Ballynahinch Community Centre. You’ll help ensure the centre is safe, welcoming, and well-maintained for all visitors, while delivering excellent frontline customer service. What You’ll Do ✅ Provide a high-quality service in line with the Council’s Customer Charter ✅ Set up rooms, equipment, and event spaces safely and efficiently ✅ Carry out cleaning duties, ensuring hygiene and safety standards (COSHH) ✅ Administer first aid, report accidents, and take preventative action ✅ Support summer schemes for children (ages 6–12) ✅ Assist with outdoor water amenities ✅ Handle clerical tasks, including secure banking lodgements ✅ Act as senior/key holder when required ✅ Support new staff inductions and departmental projects What We’re Looking For Great customer service skills and a positive attitude Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative Flexibility to work evenings and weekends on a rota basis Awareness of health & safety responsibilities Why Join Us? ✨ Competitive pay – £14.07 per hour ✨ Varied and rewarding role in a community setting ✨ Be part of a supportive team delivering vital local services
