About The Role
Location: Bowd, Sidmouth EX10 0ND
* Salary: £25,692.74 per annum / £12.31, rising to £12.56 after plant training
* Working pattern: Wednesday to Sunday, with Monday and Tuesday as rest days
* Start & Finish Times: Summer (April - Sept): 08:45am - 17:15pm; Winter (Oct-March): 08:45am - 16:45pm; Weekend hours vary seasonally
* Overtime available
* Monthly site bonus
* Driving license and own vehicle required
* Occasional travel to neighboring HWRCS sites such as Exmouth and Honiton
Responsibilities
* Advise and assist the public on site usage to maximize material recovery
* Maintain accurate records of material removal
* Provide excellent customer service
* Manage container exchanges and bookings to ensure proper site storage
* Maintain a tidy and safe site environment
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal requirements
* Collaborate with team members to adhere to site permits and policies
* Perform any other duties reasonably requested within the scope of the role
Candidate Requirements
We seek an enthusiastic team player to join our site team, ensuring operational standards are exceeded. Flexibility, health and safety awareness, and a desire for continuous improvement are essential. Experience in waste management or high-volume production is advantageous but not mandatory.
