About the role
In this role you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of live/de‑energised conductors, hardware and structures used in the National Transmission Grid, including the erection, repair and/or dismantlement of assets. You will follow all safety procedures as well as statutory requirements.
This is a full‑time, permanent role with a minimum of 40 hours a week guaranteed. The role will be based in Hawke's Bay and will pay between $35 to $45 NZD per hour, depending on experience.
About You
* 3 years experience in transmission lines work
* Must hold an EWRB Line Mechanic Trainee Limited Certificate
* Testing and electrical safety
* Experience climbing transmission towers or similar
* Valid driver’s licence and experience driving appropriate vehicles on all roads, terrain and weather conditions
* Excellent attitude to SHEQ
* Physically fit, especially with regards to heavy lifting, stretching and climbing
* Comfortable working at heights
