Responsibilities:
* Direct and lead a team of safety leads, scientists, senior management and relevant governing bodies in safety evidence generation, risk management and more.
* Develop strong strategies for global medical safety in line with companies goals.
* Be the 'face' of the companies Global Medical Safety function, both internal an external.
* Lead interactions with health authorities.
* Lead efforts to advance the Patient Safety and Pharmacovigilance discipline, ensuring adherence to the highest quality and ethical standards,
Requirements:
* Degree as Medical Doctor or PhD within Life Science
* 10-15+ years’ pharma experience within Patient Safety & Pharmacovigilance
* Extensive people leadership experience with a successful track record in setting
* strategic direction.
* Experience with supporting teams in regulatory interactions.
* Experience with global filings in US, EU, Japan and China
* Experience in neuroscience.
