Title: Project Manager
Location: Glasgow
An opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join the team at Galliford Try within our Facilities Management (FM) business unit.
You will be working on the Glasgow School Lifecycle contract managing the delivery of multiple refurbishment projects across 30 schools in the Glasgow area. The role will be based out of our Robroyston office, working alongside a small team of Project Managers, Commercial Manager and Building Surveyor.
What you will be doing
* Review project scope with clients and key stakeholders.
* Procure subcontractors, issue tender documentation and assess returned offers to achieve best value.
* Coordinate works with FM contractors and school staff to minimise disruption to school operations.
* Chair pre-start meetings with FM contractors and school staff.
* Produce and manage Health & Safety documentation including Construction Phase Plans, RAMS, and permits.
* Act as Principal Contractor, managing multiple projects simultaneously across different sites, engaging with project stakeholders to keep them aware of progress and any project issues.
* Maintain financial control, including change management, cost agreements for additional works and updating project Final Account values.
* Produce monthly progress reports and present them to clients and stakeholders.
* Lead snagging inspections and manage project handover, including O&M documentation.
About you
* Proven experience delivering multiple projects simultaneously from inception to completion.
* Background in Construction, Engineering or Facilities Management.
* Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
* Good understanding of Health & Safety responsibilities and procedures.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders.
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and report writing.

* Construction‑related degree or equivalent
* NEBOSH National General Certificate (or similar)
* CSCS card
* Temporary Works Coordinator
