Length Of Assignment: 6 Months
Location(s) and expected travel: 3-5 days per week onsite in Billingham (near Middlesborough/Durham)
Responsibilities: Provide the day-to-day BAU support of the FDB Physical, Virtual and Cloud based IT Platform.
Terminal Server tools and configuration.
Decent technical consultant that can do documentation.
Proven experience of delivering infrastructure design and support within an enterprise environment.
Platform patching and vulnerability management.
Experience of troubleshooting and using remote access tools.
Monitoring of the FDB platform.
Work with the established service management tool (ServiceNow) to record, update and manage incidents.
Creating Servers and Active Directory User Groups.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Active Directory management and design including ADD.
Strong knowledge of Backup technologies and Storage arrays.
In-depth knowledge of VMware.
Nice to Have: In-depth knowledge of Citrix administration including F5 load balancing is advantageous.
Working knowledge of Hyper Converged Infrastructure advantageous.
Working knowledge of MSQL Infrastructure advantageous.
Exposure to OT environments.
