As General Manager, you will:
* Oversee day-to-day transport operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery across all contracts
* Lead and develop a large, multi-functional workforce
* Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement
* Develop and execute strategic business plans
* Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance
* Ensure compliance with all safety, legal, and industry regulations
* Build and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders and clients
* Collaborate closely with senior leadership to achieve business goals
What We’re Looking For
* Strong leadership and people management experience
* Proven ability to think strategically and lead high-performing operational teams
* Financial and budget management experience
* Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
* Deep understanding of transport-related compliance and safety requirements
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Experience in the transport industry is highly desirable
* Transport Managers CPC (or willingness to obtain within 12 months)
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field
* Must be willing to work full-time, on-site in Stanwell
Package
* Salary: £60,000 per annum + £5,000 performance-based bonus
* Car Allowance: £350/month or company car
* Benefits: Laptop, mobile phone, 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
