Supply ChainServices provides both pre-wholesale and wholesale distribution ofPharmaceutical, healthcare and animal health products to pharmaciesand hospital nationwide. The business supports a diverse customerbase through the provision of strong service levels coupled withinnovative commercial initiatives. In addition, the businessprovides services and supports that help independent communitypharmacy to compete more effectively in an increasingly difficultenvironment and runs a network of Uniphar-owned pharmacies underthe Life, Allcare and Hickeys symbol brands.

TheRole
Delivering a best-in-classTrading function and strategy, driving continuous growth anddevelopment for the On-Demand business globally. The role willrequire dynamic thinking, desire to grow and be the best in themarket, being the first port of call for customers globally.Working closely with the Sourcing Lead / team.
Key Outcomes
* Development &Implementation of the long term trading/selling strategyrepresenting Durbin UK and DevonshireHealthcare.
* Manage / adapt our commercialstrategy and priorities to deliver customer value, ensuringsustained bottom-line business performance, taking into accountchanging internal and externaldynamics.
* Responsible for managing andcoordinating the trading team, to achieve and exceed budgeted salesand margin by division.
* Managing forecastedsales in line with Procurement andoperations.
* Identify and present sales andmargin growth opportunities with appropriate level of detailedbusiness cases.
* Lead on project proposals anddeveloping new business opportunities in Supply ChainStrategy.
* Build and maintain strongrelationships across the business, in particular Quality, Financeand Operations
Identify new service offerings and productcategory opportunities, in order to broaden our service offering asa go-to.
* Engage with the greater Supply Chainand Life Sciences community to develop firm presence, includingthought leadership.
* Support Account Managers ingaining new business, and ensure current customer base servicelevels and relationship management is best inclass.
* Monthly monitoring and management ofcompetitor commercial activities and service, outside of theUniphar channels.
* Convert strategic prioritiesinto well-defined KPIs, ensuring that project plans are efficientlydeveloped, resourced, tracked, andexecuted.
* Actively participate and contributeto business development and project initiatives asrequired.
* Experience in Pharmaceuticals indifferent markets - Ireland, UK, MENA, LATAC andAfrica
Developing a 30, 60 and 90 day rollingplan.
* Participate, as needed, with recruitmentand act as a peoplemanager.
Qualification,Experience & SkillsRequired
* Proven trackrecord in achieving targets, in a wholesaleenvironment.
* Solid understanding of thePharmaceutical Industry locally &globally.
* Extensive experience in all aspectsof relationship management.
* Experience inincorporating a financial and strategic perspective to sales& trading policies.
* Proven analyticalskills combined with excellent commercial acumen areessential.
* High levels of resilience andtenacity.
* Equally comfortable working alone oras part of a team.
* Flexible, innovativeapproach to work.
* Excellent communicationskills - ability to communicate at all business levels, includingcustomer/supplier Conferences.
* Ability to workwell under pressure and to work totargets.
* Good time management and planningskills.
* Excellent Excel and Powerpointskills
* Knowledge of SAP, BI and Arcos CRMsystems an advantage.

This rolewill be based in our office in Hayes where a flexible hybridworking model is also available. It's important to achieve theright balance between face-to-face interactions with virtualworking over the long term. Moreover, there will be flexibilityrequired to interact with colleagues (i.e., it's not a '9 to 5'type of job).
