Pertemps is partnering with an organization based in Renfrewshire to add to their Finance Team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a busy finance department. The salary for this position is up to £30k, depending on experience, with some fantastic benefits. Working hours are Monday – Thursday 9am – 4.40pm and a 3.30pm finish on Friday.
This role is initially for a period of 3 months but could be extended or made permanent. A car is essential for travel to the client site.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role involves processing monthly transactions, customer billing, and general accounting admin duties.
Main responsibilities
1. Process accruals and prepayment journals
2. Review accounts payable invoices for completeness and accuracy
3. Process monthly billing to customers
4. Credit Control
5. Create bank payments
6. Perform bank reconciliations, including posting cash transactions
7. Assist with investigating outstanding items in balance sheet reconciliations
8. Gather evidence for internal and external audits
9. Assist the wider finance team with ad hoc duties and reporting
