Care Supervisor- Supported Living service

Brook street Social Care are proud to work in partnership with this organisation where we're seeking a Care Supervisor to join their team, near Chorley.
The Role:
As a Care Supervisor you will be working in one of the supported living tenancies supporting the Registered manager in the running of the service.
To work on a full time basis, on a rota which will include alternate weekends and 10 hours of your working week to focus on any administrative tasks, the rest supporting on shifts and being involved in the daily support and care of the individuals
Coordinate daily care operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality support to people being supported.
Lead and supervise a team of care staff, providing guidance, support, and mentor ship to promote professional development.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to adult care services.
Monitor and maintain accurate documentation, including care records, incident reports, and staff rotas.
Promote a positive and respectful environment that encourages dignity, independence, and choice for the individuals
Participate in staff recruitment, training, and performance reviews to uphold service standards.
Act as a point of contact for clients, families, and external agencies, ensuring effective communication and resolution of issues.
Be involcved with daily activiites and support for all indivudals, supporting with medication and personal care. About You:
You will be passionate about supporting adults with profound learning difficulties and complex needs.
Your leadership and supervisory skills will be excellent, together with your ability to lead teams well to help them achieve their goals and duties.
You will hold a minimum of Level 3 Health & Social Care or equivalent, and be willing to undertake additional social care qualifications
Proven experience in managing care teams.
Strong understanding of adult services and care management principles.
Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and compliance requirements within adult care.
Proficiency in maintaining accurate care documentation and reporting.
Ability to work flexibly and respond effectively to changing client needs. You will be flexible for working on a rota, alternate weekends and on call duties.
You will ideally be a car driver with access to your own vehicle. Benefits:
