As demand continues to accelerate, the business is now looking for a Demand Planner who can bring structure, clarity and visibility to how demand is forecast, understood and communicated across the organisation. This is a role that sits at the heart of the business, connecting commercial plans with operational reality and ensuring the company can continue to scale without losing control of availability, inventory and supply planning.

Key Responsibilities
Own the Demand Forecast
Take responsibility for developing and maintaining rolling demand forecasts across all products and sales channels, using a combination of historical data, commercial insight, promotions and seasonal trends.
Lead the Demand Planning Process
Run the company’s monthly demand review process, ensuring forecasts are aligned across sales, marketing, finance and operations before being communicated to the wider business.
Connect Commercial Plans with Operational Reality
Work closely with commercial teams to ensure demand forecasts reflect the latest sales activity, marketing campaigns, new product launches and customer growth plans.
Provide Clear Visibility of Demand and Inventory
Identify potential demand spikes, supply risks or stock constraints early and work cross‑functionally to mitigate potential service issues.
Analyse demand patterns and performance to improve forecast accuracy and provide the business with meaningful insight into demand trends and risks.
Help Build a Scalable Planning Function
Support the development of Hawkstone’s demand planning capability as the business grows, improving forecasting tools, processes and ways of working over time.
What We’re Looking For
Demand Planning Experience
Proven experience in demand planning, forecasting or supply planning within an FMCG, food or drinks environment.
Strong Analytical Capability
Confidence working with data and building forecasting models, with strong Excel skills.
Cross-Functional Communication
Experience working closely with commercial and operational teams to align forecasts and planning assumptions.
An understanding of how promotions, sales growth, marketing activity and product launches influence demand.
Structured and Organised
A natural ability to bring structure and discipline to planning processes in a fast‑moving business.
Nice to Have
* Experience within alcoholic beverages, brewing or FMCG environments
* Exposure to S&OP or S&OE planning processes
* Experience working in a high‑growth or scale‑up business
