Daily Rate: £89.38 – £100 | Full-Time | September Start
Teaching Personnel is seeking a Psychology graduate to work as a Teaching Assistant at a diverse, Ofsted-rated 'Good' secondary school in Levenshulme. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate looking to gain classroom experience or explore a future career in education, educational psychology, or youth work.
The Role:
* Support students with a range of needs across KS3 and KS4
* Work one-to-one or with small groups to assist learning and engagement
* Provide emotional and behavioural support where needed
* Help implement strategies from the SEN and pastoral team
* Collaborate with teachers to ensure students are making progress
* Gain experience in behaviour management and safeguarding
The Ideal Candidate:
* A Psychology graduate (or closely related subject)
* Passionate about working with young people and supporting their development
* Confident, patient, and proactive in a classroom setting
* Prior experience working with children or young people is desirable (e.g., schools, youth groups, tutoring, care work)
* Willing to work full-time, Monday to Friday
* DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one)
