We’re partnering with a well established manufacturing organisation based in Brighton who are looking for a Buyer who can hit the ground running and keep production moving smoothly. If you enjoy problem solving, supplier engagement, and making a real difference in daily operations, this role is for you.
Duties will include:
1. Owning vendor relationships to drive on‑time delivery, competitive pricing, quality performance, and effective issue resolution.
2. Monitoring and managing supply chain risks, market challenges, lead times, obsolescence, and order quantities.
3. Supporting New Product Implementation, ensuring materials and suppliers are aligned with project timelines.
4. Driving inventory and cost improvements, reducing overstock, managing obsolete items, and delivering cost‑saving projects.
This is a temporary role working full time on site in Brighton with an immediate start.
Previous experience in a Buyer, Purchasing, or Supply Chain support role is essential. Experience working in a manufacturing or operational environment is preferred.
