Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and qualified Asbestos Supervisor to join our team and oversee asbestos-related works across a range of civil engineering projects. Role Overview As the Asbestos Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing asbestos removal and remediation works, ensuring compliance with all legal, health and safety, and company standards. You’ll supervise operatives on site, liaise with clients and project managers, and ensure all documentation and procedures are up to date and followed. Key Responsibilities * Supervise licensed and non-licensed asbestos works across various civil engineering sites * Manage teams of asbestos operatives ensuring work is delivered safely and to a high standard * Ensure full compliance with HSE regulations (including Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012) * Conduct site inspections and toolbox talks * Maintain accurate site records and documentation, including risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) * Liaise with clients, project managers, and environmental consultants * Report and escalate any issues or non-compliance to senior management Requirements * Valid Asbestos Supervisor Training (UKATA or equivalent) * Minimum 3 years' experience in a supervisory role within asbestos removal * Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and HSE regulations * Experience working in a civil engineering or construction environment * Valid CSCS card, Full UK Driving Licence * Additional certifications (e.g. SSSTS, First Aid) desirable What We Offer * Competitive salary and benefits package * Company vehicle or travel allowance * Opportunities for progression and training * Supportive team culture with a focus on safety and development * Long-term pipeline of work in the South London region
