Technical Gas Planning Coordinator - 12 Month FTC (Maternity Cover)
What we are looking for:
We are looking for a Technical Planning Coordinator, with a particular focus on planning gas servicing and repair works, to join dynamic team to provide operational support to enable the department to deliver a professional building maintenance and repairs services to a range of customers and clients.

Duties:
The successful candidate will work with the team and a range of stakeholders (including operatives, clients and customers) to effectively schedule and coordinate a range of planned and reactive repairs and maintenance works according to available resource, priorities and legislation within the gas compliance workstream. There may also be scope to provide support across the wider service as needed (e.g. major works and minor works and other projects).
Qualifications & Experience:
* English and Maths qualification.
* Experience of commercial administration, ideally within the construction industry, and specifically within Housing/Repairs and Maintenance would be preferred.
* Experience with database management and data entry, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
* Experience in maintaining detailed documentation of void properties, including condition reports, repair schedules, and compliance with relevant regulations.
* Good standard of verbal and written English.
* IT literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to articulate clearly.
* Able to record information accurately.
* Good organisational skills with ability to effectively prioritise work.
* Can demonstrate an understanding of confidentiality and Data Protection.
* Ability to use databases and spreadsheets and use for monitoring purposes.
* Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work well with others.
* A proactive and friendly approach.
* Great team working skills but also able to use initiative and work independently.
Working Arrangements:
* Full-time, 12-month FTC (36 hours per week) Monday to Friday.
* Location: Dagenham East.
