Salary:Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale Band 5 (aligned with AFC)£29,970- £36,483 pro rata per annum

Based:Marie Curie Urgent Hospice Care at Home - Candidates are primarily based in Downpatrick but must be willing to work between Downpatrick and Lisburn, with potential assignments in additional bases including Newtownards.

As a Registered Nurse you will work alongside a Clinical Nurse Manager and Senior Nurse as well as other healthcare professionals to provide an integrated and coordinated service that delivers care and support to people with terminal illnesses, whilst also offering vital emotional support for their families.

What we are looking for:
* RN Registration Level 1
* Experience in NHS or other relevant care setting in palliative care
* Ability to work in a complex and stressful environment and demonstrate appropriate coping mechanisms
* Be a licensed driver with access to a car and a willingness to travel is essential
The Marie Curie Urgent Hospice Care at home Service delivers rapid and flexible out of hours nursing care and support for terminally ill patients and their carers. (Other services include multi visit/ overnight service/ Blood transfusion service **these are trust area specific**) We are a community based palliative care service whose aim is to respond quickly to support palliative patients and their carers within the community, usually in the patients’ own home. We aim to prevent inappropriate admission to hospital and the choice for the patient of preferred place of care.
We are passionate about continuous improvement and are looking for nurses who share this passion to work with us to ensure the people we serve, and our staff are treated with respect and as individuals.
The Marie Curie Nursing Service is deployed in geographical regions which contain a series of smaller teams that are designed to provide a supportive staffing network. This role is primarily working on our Rapid Response service.
