Job Description

As an S&W Private Client Tax Manager, you will work with Assistant Managers, Associate Directors, and Directors across their portfolios, benefiting from diverse learning opportunities.
Your client portfolios will include private clients with established and growing wealth, with a focus on private equity executives and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver work to clients in line with agreed timelines and budgets.
2. Manage a client portfolio, reviewing the work of junior team members.
3. Liaise with other service lines to deliver comprehensive client services, e.g., Accounts & Corporate Tax.
4. Monitor WIP and draft fee notes.
5. Maintain strong client relationships and support senior team members in identifying new opportunities.
6. Develop junior team members through feedback and technical/personal development.
Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
* Significant experience in a professional services firm, with knowledge of complex capital gains tax and inheritance tax issues.
* Proven technical knowledge and ability to communicate complex messages effectively.
* Ability to consider the client's overall landscape beyond technical work.
* Experience in delivering tax planning and managing compliance issues.
* People management and organizational skills.
* Qualified Chartered Accountant and/or Chartered Tax Adviser (ACA / CTA).
